How to Use WordPress

Here's a GREAT introduction to setting up a WordPress website. The series of 7 videos that follows was created specifically for websites using BlueHost, but you could use learn the basics here and apply it to the domain host of your choice. BlueHost, however, happens to be one of the most widely-recommended sites for hosting WordPress pages, so it may be worth your while to check it out.

Audio Editing

One of the first decisions I'll need to make for City College's BCST 135 (Audio for the Web) is this: What kind of audio editing do I want to use? The tools I've already explored are GarageBand on my Mac, and Audacity on my PC. However, here's an alternative to those two "free" solutions (GarageBand is free only because it came with the Mac!): Adobe's Audition. This has the advantage of being part of the Adobe family of products, of which I currently use the Design and Web Premium CS6. So, it's at least worth learning about. Here's a video that gives a quick demo of what Audition CS6 can do:
