Every day there's a new challenge. I have pretty much finished with transferring data from 2 "dead" (worthless/frustrating) computers to my new Windows 8 HP. Now I'm trying to figure out how to recover the data on an external hard drive that is not recognizable by at least 2 of my computers. I searched for hours today, trying to find a way to connect the drive - looking for new drivers, connecting to other computers, whatever might work. I even went to Best Buy to see if they could transfer the data to another external hard drive. What happened there is another story, too irritating to recall just yet. My conclusion was - I bet I can do it myself! So, I'm back searching the Internet to see what I can find.
